If you are talking about how long your computer takes to boot (start up to normal windows) you will probably find that the "slow" response time is because of your Internet security program starting up, checking for Internet connectivity,contacting the security provider then verifying the account & then checking for any updates. You could also try deleting your desktop shortcuts or moving them to the "quick launch" taskbar. I have found that it makes a difference if you have a lot of desktop shortcuts. You couls also try adjusting the number of programs that you have starting as soon as you have booted your computer. You ideally should have only the minimum number that you really need.

just buy the pc booster it will make your system very fast and if you don't want to buy it then try system mechanic trial version it will do the job perfectly.

First of Vista requires almost 1 gig of run just to run Vista. I sugest a min of 2 for vista . Some of your program tools probly update them selves by accessing the internet as you log on without you knowing. Too many tools all fighting for resources with limited RAM.

Your graphics card is pretty outdated, and yeah you need about a gig or so more of ram. But other than that it might just be clogged up with garbage. Computers get that way after you've installed and uninstalled a lot of stuff over time. The only way to remedy THAT is with a good old-fashioned formatting.
